It's been cold here in Ohio. Not just cold, really cold. Unbearably cold. To avoid going stir crazy, I've been trying to think creatively and plan some fun activities for Carson. I was dying to take him to play in the snow but I just felt too guilty taking him out in the freezing temps. So instead, we brought the outside in! I used the bin we use for sensory play and filled it up with snow. I gathered some of his summer beach toys and let him dig in. He was a little hesitant at first, but really enjoyed it! I just put a towel down in our kitchen and since snow melts into water, I wasn't concerned about a mess!
Here are some pictures of our snow day in:
Apparently these turtles make good hats! |
He was pretty upset when he spilled some of the snow! |
After tasting the snow. :) |
I think he was confused, he kept trying to put his boots on! :) |
What do you do to beat the winter blues?
Share your fun indoor activities!
I'm linking up today:
Haha cute! Maybe he wanted to put his boots on to get in the bucket! What a great idea!
