Bumpdate: 30 Weeks!

30 Weeks!

Baby is currently the size of a CUCUMBER!

Next Appointment: This Friday: February 21st!!

Gender: Adding another BOY to our family!  Check out our reveal photo.

Total Weight Gain: I was +18lbs at 29w1d.  I'm a little nervous to see how much I've gained in two short weeks at my 31w appointment!

Maternity Clothes: As I said last week, I packed away most of my non-maternity stuff except for longer tops, cardis, camis, and lazy/PJ pants.  I know a lot of people don't like maternity clothes but my maternity jeggings are pretty darn comfy! :)

Sleep: Same old story.  I toss and turn a lot and whenever I wake up to go to the bathroom I can NOT get back to sleep!  Sometimes I contemplate laying in bed and letting my bladder burst, haha!

Movement: Mason is constantly on the go in there.  My husband jokes that he is mad that he doesn't have enough space because you can almost always see my stomach contorting into weird shapes as he pushes out little elbows/feet/legs/bum, etc.  It's really fun to watch!

Food Cravings/Aversions: I still can't eat meat and don't see that happening any time soon.  This week I had a few smoothies which were amazingly delicious.  I also craved some Italian Ice from a local place that mixes it with custard but sadly, I didn't get any.   Oh, and I still eat hummus every day like it's my job!

Best Moment This Week: Noticing Mason's reaction to my smoothies.  I know it's probably just the sugar, but he dances around SO much when I have smoothies and Carson was the same way.  I love it!

What I Miss: I miss readjusting in bed without feeling like it was a huge production.  I feel like it's so much work to roll over in bed now and I'm constantly changing positions because of my back pain!

What I'm Looking Forward To: I can't wait to hear Mason's little heart beating away at my appointment this Friday!  <3

Symptoms: Lower back pain, pregnancy insomnia, frequent bathroom breaks, etc.  I've had a few really bad cramps that I think are round ligament pain but they don't feel the same as my RLP that I had earlier in this pregnancy.  I'm going to ask the doc about that Friday.

Extra Notes From the Week: No big news, just anxiously awaiting my appointment this Friday!  After this we move to every 2 weeks which makes me SO happy!

Here's my weekly photo bomber plus a fun comparison!

  1. How are you 30 weeks already?! I couldn't eat meat from the second I got pregnant and it lasted the entire time - it was so frustrating. And I had to laugh and the "getting comfortable in bed production" because I remember those days when I'd have to hoist myself over, then I'd get a leg cramp and as soon as I was comfortable, I'd have to pee.
