Peanut Butter Meltaway Cookies [Tasty Tuesday]

If that title didn't reel you in, I don't know what will!  These cookies are something I whipped up when I was craving dessert and I didn't have much in the pantry.  They're easy peasy and super delicious!

Like I said, I didn't have much in my pantry so......I used bag cookie mix.  Go ahead and judge away, I never said I was Buddy Valastro!  If you want to out do me and need a good recipe for homemade peanut butter cookies, please try these pudding cookies!  You won't be disappointed!

Peanut Butter Meltaways

What You Need

peanut butter cookie mix (1 bag, I used Betty Crocker)
canola/vegetable oil (my bag called for 2 tbsp)
water
extra peanut butter (optional)
Reese's Peanut Butter Cups Miniatures

How to Make:
Preheat your oven to 375° and spray your mini muffin tin with nonstick baking spray.

Prepare your cookies according to the directions on the package.  I added about 1/2 cup of extra peanut butter.  It's totally optional but I think it makes the bag cookies taste just a smidgen better!

Using a cookie scoop, fill each section of your baking tray with cookie dough.  {I filled my tray of 24 and had some dough left over.  Make a few traditional peanut butter cookies to pack in lunches!}

Stick your cookies in the oven for 5 minutes.  While they're baking, unwrap your Reese's.  Go ahead and eat a few because you only need 24!

Take your cookies out of the oven and quickly press a peanut butter cup into the center of each cookie.  Once you have done this to every cookie, stick them back in the oven for about 3 minutes.

When you get your cookies out, the chocolate will be melted.  Let them cool (in the pan) on a wire rack for about 10 minutes.  Finally, enjoy with a tall glass of milk!

Also, for those of you that share my guilty pleasure of reality TV drama like The Bachelor...

Hahahaha!!  Goodbye Tierra.  Also, who else can't wait until hometown dates next week!?
